Kyrgyzstan imported 4.6 million liters of gasoline for $2.1 million from Turkmenistan in the first seven months of 2021, Trend reports citing the Kyrgyz National Statistical Committee.
According to the ministry, in the same period of last year, the import of Turkmen gasoline wasn’t carried out.
Trade turnover between the two countries from January through July 2021 increased by 2.2 times compared to the same period of 2020 ($7.8 million) and amounted to $16.3 million.
In the reporting period, the share of Turkmenistan in the foreign trade turnover of Kyrgyzstan amounted to 0.4 percent.
