Turkmenistan will continue activities to widely use the potential of the private sector in all sectors of the economy, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave the relevant instruction, Trend reports via the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
It is necessary to improve such legislative acts as the Merchant Shipping Code, Customs and Tax Codes, laws regulating investment activities and other documents in order to stimulate economic, entrepreneurial and investment activity, head of state noted that.
The new infrastructure of the regions of Turkmenistan is being created, the efficiency of entrepreneurial activity is increasing and work is being intensified on the production of import-substituting products in the conditions of intensively developing market relations, he added.
Work on the further improvement of legislative documents in order to create economic and industrial zones and their effective operation becomes particular importance.
"We will continue our activities to widely use the potential of the private sector in all sectors of the economy, provide state support for entrepreneurship and support the stable development of the country's financial and economic system, despite the negative phenomena in the global economy," Berdimuhamedov said.
Successful implementation of programs aimed at further socio-economic development of Turkmenistan, consistent democratization of society, social-economic development of the country's regions, meeting the daily needs and needs of the population is one of the main tasks, he noted.
