BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 16. The 'Miwe' enterprise in the Lebap region of Turkmenistan produced 700,000 units of canned vegetables and fruits from January through March 2022, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
During the specified period, the volume of products manufactured by the enterprise amounted to 280 tons by more than 2.2 million Turkmen manats ($620,000).
Last year, 'Miwe' produced canned vegetables and fruit worth more than 7.5 million Turkmen manats ($2.1 million).
With the increasing dynamics of the construction of industrial and social facilities in Turkmenistan, the industry is becoming one of the major sectors of the economy, which is given an important role in the implementation of import substitution programs and increasing the export potential of the state.
