BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 18. The Lebapgazchykarysh department of Turkmenistan’s Turkmengas State Concern exceeded the natural gas output plan by 119,4 percent in January-March 2022, Trend reports via the press service of Turkmengas state concern.
During this period, gas production amounted to 3.1 billion cubic meters. In addition, 14,000 tons of gas condensate were produced. As a result, the three-month gas condensate production plan was exceeded by 115 percent.
With the commissioning of the gas compressor station at the Turkmen Malai field, export supplies of natural gas through the transnational Turkmenistan -China gas pipeline have increased. Thus, from January through March 2022, the volume of gas exports through the pipeline exceeded 2 billion cubic meters, and the production plan was fulfilled by 196.6 percent.
Furthermore, Turkmenistan pays great attention to the establishment of oil and gas processing plants, as well as the export of energy resources to world markets.
