BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 18. The Halach factory of artistic carpet-making of Turkmenistan produced 2,425 square meters of carpets from January through March 2022, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
The carpets woven at the enterprise totaled 5 million Turkmen manat ($1.4 million).
Currently, the company weaves carpets of various sizes to order for administrative and residential buildings.
Turkmenhaly state association is the main supplier of renowned Turkmen handmade pure-wool fleecy carpets from Turkmenistan to the world market.
The main activities of the association are the manufacture and sales of Turkmen carpets, as well as the conservation of hand carpet-making tradition.
