BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 2. The total amount of transactions at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan amounted to about $37.3 million last week, Trend reports via “Business Turkmenistan” news agency.
Entrepreneurs from UAE, Turkey and UK purchased jet fuel and hydrotreated diesel fuel produced by the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries (TCOR) and representatives of business communities from Turkey and Afghanistan purchased liquefied gas and ECO-93 gasoline.
Businessmen from the UAE and Kazakhstan purchased cotton yarn in the amount of 1.6 million Turkmen manats ($450,000).
Entrepreneurs from Turkmenistan for the local market purchased high-density polyethylene and handmade carpets for a total amount of about 13 million Turkmen manat ($3.7 million).
A total of 53 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
