BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 12. Turkmenistan’s GDP growth rate from the beginning of 2022 has remained stable at 6.2 percent, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov said at the government meeting, Trend reports citing the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
According to the president, over the first four months of the current year, the volume of the foreign trade turnover of Turkmenistan increased by 42.5 percent, while the retail turnover volume by 10.5 percent.
The assessment of the implementation of the new program in the agriculture sector, the construction of social facilities, and water treatment facilities.
Meanwhile, the meeting summed up the results of the government's work on the economy over the first four months of 2022, assessed the relevant reports, and also considered a number of other issues.
