BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 21. A new industrial flow of natural gas has been received at the "Agarguy" site, located next to the "Malai" gas field in the Lebap region of Turkmenistan, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
The well with a design depth of 3,300 meters was drilled by specialists of the expedition "Lebapnebitgazgozleg" of the "Turkmengeology" State Corporation.
A few years ago, the "Agarguy" site was included in the production list of deposits.
Currently, 400,000 cubic meters of natural gas are produced daily in the developed two wells here.
Turkmenistan ranks among the world's leading countries in terms of oil and gas reserves. Its gas reserves have increased by 126 billion cubic meters as a result of the industrial development of recently discovered gas fields.
At the same time, the country pays great attention to the creation of oil and gas processing plants, as well as the export of energy resources to world markets.
