BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 16. The S.A.Niyazov Chemical Plant in Turkmenistan produced 53,000 tons of phosphorus mineral fertilizers from January through May 2022, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
This is 21,200 tons higher than planned.
At the same time, it is envisaged that by the end of 2022 the plant will produce 224,000 tons of phosphorous mineral fertilizers.
Since the beginning of the year, the plant has also manufactured 42,800 tons of sulfuric acid. The cost of the total volume of production amounted to 48.8 million Turkmen manats ($13.9 million).
At the moment, the plant is undergoing reconstruction and construction of additional workshops.
With the increasing dynamics of the construction of industrial and social facilities in Turkmenistan, the industry is becoming one of the most important sectors of the economy, which is given an important role in the implementation of import substitution programs and increasing the export potential of the state.
