BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 22. A businessman from Turkiye purchased various types of cotton yarn during trading on June 21 at the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan, Trend reports citing Orient news.

The undisclosed client purchased 482 tons of cotton yarn of various types on the exchange.

The total amount of the transaction was $1.55 million.

Furthermore, according to the exchange, the same businessman purchased ECO-93 gasoline on June 8 at a price of $989.5 per ton. The deal was concluded for the amount of $19.7 million.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
