BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 4. "Turkmen ojagy" enterprise, located in the Lebap region in the east of Turkmenistan, has published indicators of textile production from January through July 2022, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
During this period, the enterprise produced 116,700 meters of cotton insulation, 154,000 meters of canvas fabric and 436 tons of cotton wool.
Some of the products manufactured are exported to countries such as Kyrgyzstan and Türkiye.
Turkmenistan plans to allocate more than $300 million for the implementation of over 30 projects in the textile industry by 2025.
In general, over the years of independence, about $2 billion were invested in the construction of new and reconstruction of existing textile enterprises.
