BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 17. The area of land sown with rice in the Danew district of the Lebap region in the east of Turkmenistan has been published, Trend reports citing the Turkmenistan Golden Age online newspaper.
This year, 2,160 hectares have been sown in the district, from which it is planned to harvest 10,000 tons of rice.
Furthermore, 10,200 hectares were sown in the region this year, from which 47,400 tons of rice are planned to be harvested.
At the moment, the rice fields are being cared for according to the norms of agricultural technology.
