BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 4. The volume of exports of products of private enterprises located in the Lebap region in the east of Turkmenistan from January through September 2022 has been published, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
During this period, the enterprises of the region exported abroad industrial goods worth more than 25,5 million Turkmen manats ($7.3 million).
Among the shipped goods were liquid bitumen mastic, batteries, recycled polymer, polyethylene pipes, cotton wool and other types of products.
The main importers of the goods manufactured at the enterprise are countries such as Türkiye, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Belarus, the UAE and Kyrgyzstan.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov previously said that Turkmenistan sets a number of strategically important tasks for the economic growth of the state.
In particular, the country is working to modernize and improve sectors of the national economy, develop private entrepreneurship, and increase the competitiveness of the national economy and export potential.
