BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 6. Businessmen of Afghanistan purchased liquefied gas during trading on October 5 at the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan, Trend reports citing Orient news.
Entrepreneurs from Afghanistan purchased over 4,000 tons of liquefied gas on the exchange at a price of $465.5 per ton. The total amount of the transaction was $1.8 million.
The liquefied gas sent for export was produced at the Turkmenbashi Oil Processing Complex.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
