BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 6. The number of companies founded in Türkiye with Turkmen capital from January through August 2022 has been published, Trend reports citing Arzuw News.
During the reporting period, 69 companies with Turkmen investments were established in Türkiye, with a total capital of 25 million Turkish liras ($1.34 million).
Turkmen companies were established in manufacturing (1), construction (8), trade (40), transport (6), hotel and restaurant (3), information and communication (1), property (1), professional (8), educational (1) and other (3) sectors of the economy Türkiye.
They are located in Istanbul (67), Antalya (1) and Bursa (1). Meanwhile, 61 of these companies are limited liability companies and 8 are joint stock companies.
There were 11 companies operating in Türkiye as of 2003, founded by citizens of Turkmenistan, whose capital at that time was $1.27 million.
