BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 6. Turkmen Turkmennebit State Concern is working on the development of fields that are part of the Cheleken contract territory, Trend reports citing the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH).
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Shakhym Abdrakhmanov informed the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov about this during a government meeting.
According to him, the state concern is also working to increase the volume of oil produced by drilling new oil wells.
After hearing the report, the head of state noted that accelerated development of oil and gas fields in Turkmenistan, drilling of new wells, and attraction of large profile companies interested in participating in industry projects will serve the significant development of the domestic fuel and energy sector.
