BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 10. The Lebapgazchykarysh department of Turkmenistan’s Turkmengaz State Concern exceeded the plan for natural gas production in 2022, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
During this period, the department produced over 12.1 billion cubic meters of natural gas, exceeding the plan by 24 percent.
Furthermore, Lebapgazchykarysh produced more than 45,400 tons of gas condensate in 2022, which is the raw material for the Seydi Oil Refinery (SOR). The plan for its extraction was exceeded by 8 percent.
These indicators have been achieved by increasing the productivity of gas fields, repairing inactive wells and putting them into operation.
Meanwhile, 83.77 billion cubic meters of natural gas were produced in Turkmenistan last year, which is the highest figure in the last 30 years.
