BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 19. Azerbaijan increased imports of RON-92 and RON-95 gasoline from Turkmenistan from January through November 2022, Trend reports citing the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported more than 8,200 tons of RON-95 gasoline worth $7.8 million, which is 19.25 percent more than in the same period of 2021.
Azerbaijan's import of gasoline from this brand of Turkmen production in the first 11 months of 2021 amounted to more than 6,900 tons worth over $5.2 million.
At the same time, Azerbaijan also imported more than 42,800 tons of RON-92 gasoline worth $49.5 million from Turkmenistan from January through November 2022.
At the moment, Turkmenistan pays great attention to the construction of oil and gas processing plants, as well as the export of energy resources to world markets.
