BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 23. The delegation of the Russian Rosgeologia Geological Exploration Holding met with the heads of the Turkmen Turkmengeology State Corporation, the Turkmennebit and Turkmengaz state concerns, as well as with representatives of the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan, within the framework of the Turkmen-Russian business forum held in Ashgabat, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
During the meeting, the Russian side offered technical assistance in the exploration and development of Turkmen deposits of minerals and hydrocarbons. In the near future, the parties agreed to sign a document that includes a solid portfolio of proposals from Rosgeologiya.
Within the framework of the document, Russian experts will participate in projects to conduct 3D seismic exploration on free blocks of the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea in the format of a multiclient survey, search, and justification of geological sites suitable for the construction of underground gas storage facilities, and also about other joint research and development in this area.
Rosgeologia is the largest geological holding in Russia with a developed production and technical potential. The company performs all types of exploration and exploration work, starting with regional studies of all types of mineral resources and ending with the assessment of reserves and commissioning of deposits.
