BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 24. Entrepreneurs from Türkiye purchased denim from Turkmen production during trading on January 23 at the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
Businessmen from Türkiye purchased 1.2 million linear meters of denim on the exchange at a price of over $2.1 per meter. The total amount of the transaction was $2.6 million.
Furthermore, according to the exchange, on January 12, businessmen from Türkiye purchased a total of over 1,200 tons of various types of cotton yarn for foreign and national currencies.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
