BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 7. The Russian Export Center (REC) is studying further plans for joint work with Turkmenistan, a source in the REC told Trend.

"The Russian Export Center has been successfully operating in Turkmenistan for several years. Today, the center helps companies from Turkmenistan to find a reliable Russian supplier, reduces the cost of logistics for them due to a special state program and, as a result, increases the efficiency of cooperation between companies of both countries," the center said.

It was noted that the REC also provides analytical support and helps in many other aspects.

"At the moment, the Russian Export Center is studying further plans for joint work with Turkmenistan. These plans include projects in the field of oil and gas infrastructure, construction of railcar repair facilities and digital solutions in education," the REC stressed.

During a speech at the Russian-Turkmen Business Forum in Ashgabat (Turkmenistan) on January 19 this year, General Director of the Russian Export Center Veronika Nikishina, noted that the REC is ready to support new large-scale projects in Turkmenistan in the oil and gas sector, as well as projects to modernize the railway infrastructure.

Russian Export Center JSC (REC) is a State-owned development institute established by the Government to support the development of the non-commodity exports industry/sector. REC offers a wide range of financial and non-financial support tools to benefit Russian exporters explore foreign markets and build capacity in global trade.
