BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 8. Turkmen ojagy enterprise, located in the Lebap region in the east of Turkmenistan, has published indicators of textile production for January 2023, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
According to the information, during the specified period, the company manufactured 84,000 linear meters of cotton insulation, 21.4 percent or 18,000 tons of which were exported to foreign countries.
Furthermore, the enterprise produced over 43,500 tons of linear meters of canvas fabric and 31 tons of cotton wool in January this year.
The company's products were exported mainly to Kyrgyzstan.
Turkmenistan plans to allocate more than $300 million for the implementation of over 30 projects in the textile industry by 2025.
In general, over the years of independence, about $2 billion were invested in the construction of new and reconstruction of existing textile enterprises.
