BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 13. The enterprises of the oil sector of Turkmenistan exceeded the production plan for 2022, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Shakhym Abdrakhmanov at an expanded meeting of the government held on February 10.
According to him, during the reporting period, the plan for the production of gasoline in Turkmenistan was exceeded by 14 percent, diesel fuel – by 9.4 percent, petroleum bitumen – by 50.3, polypropylene – by 16.5 percent, lubricating oils – by 6 percent.
Furthermore, the Deputy Chairman noted that in 2022 the plan for oil refining by the Turkmenbashi Oil Processing Complex of the Turkmennebit State Concern was exceeded by 8.1 percent.
During the meeting, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov dismissed Shakhym Abdrakhmanov from his post in connection with the transition to another job. The head of state appointed Ashirguly Begliyev as Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers on oil and gas issues, relieving him of the post of Adviser to the President of Turkmenistan on oil and gas issues
