BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 27. President of the Supreme Council of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed to study the issues of laying high-speed railway lines from the administrative center of the Ahal region of the country, the Arkadag city to the Turkmen cities of Ashgabat and Avaza, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
This instruction was given during Berdimuhamedov's working trip to Arkadag city on February 25.
He noted that during the construction of high-speed railway lines, it is necessary to actively apply innovative technologies and best practices of developed countries of the world, and also added that the railway connection connecting the city of Arkadag with the capital and other cities of the country should meet modern standards.
Meanwhile, during his trip, the President of the Supreme Council of Turkmenistan got acquainted with the projects and schemes of facilities planned for construction as part of the second stage of construction of the new center of the region, and with their location.
