BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 22. The total amount of transactions in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan amounted to about $181.6 million on March 13-17, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.

According to the information, entrepreneurs from Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, the UAE, Pakistan, and Malta purchased liquefied gas, diesel fuel, gasoline, and aviation kerosene.

In addition, businessmen from Türkiye bought cotton yarn for foreign currency, while from Uzbekistan – float glass.

A total of 46 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
