BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 6. US Westport Trading Europe Limited corporation completes the construction of a complex of delayed coking and derivatization of tar at the Turkmenbashi Oil Processing Complex, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
This was stated by the Chairman of the Board of Westport Trading Europe Limited Nikolay Yurchenko, who arrived in Turkmenistan as part of the visit of representatives of large US companies.
According to him, the delayed coking unit is designed to process all heavy residues at the plant (tar, oil sludge and other residual products) into more valuable petroleum products such as gasoline and diesel fuel.
Meanwhile, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with representatives of large US companies, during which they discussed the further development of bilateral relations.
Eric Stewart, Executive Director of the Turkmen-US Business Council, as well as representatives of US companies General Electric Gas Power, John Deere, Nicklaus Companies, Smartmatic, Westport Trading Europe Limited and UGT Renewables took part in the meeting held in the capital of Turkmenistan Ashgabat.
