BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 10. A total of 1,900 citizens from Turkmenistan visited Azerbaijan in March 2023, Trend reports via the State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan.
According to the information, this is more than 3.3 times higher than the figures for the same month last year (563 people).
Furthermore, according to the agency, Turkmenistan entered the top 15 countries in terms of the number of visitors to Azerbaijan in March 2023.
During this period, 136,505 foreigners visited Azerbaijan, which is 42 percent more than in the same period last year (95,844).
Meanwhile, over 11,188 citizens of Turkmenistan visited Azerbaijan last year, which is more than 4 times more than in 2021 (2,738 people).
