BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 26. Entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan purchased kerosene of Turkmen production during trading on April 18 at the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan, Trend reports with reference to the exchange.

Businessmen from Afghanistan purchased 7,000 tons of kerosene on the exchange at a price of $710.75 per ton. The total amount of the transactions was $4.9 million.

At the same time, according to the exchange, on April 19, representatives of business circles from Türkiye purchased 1,600 tons of various types of cotton yarn in the amount of $3.5 million.

Turkmenistan ranks among the world's leading countries in terms of oil and gas reserves. The country pays great attention to the construction of oil and gas processing plants, as well as the export of energy resources to world markets.

For example, the Turkmenbashi Oil Processing Complex produced 426,100 tons of kerosene in 2022, which is more than in 2021.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
