BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 1. Turkmenbashi Oil Processing Complex (TOPC) owned by the Turkmennebit State Concern of Turkmenistan processed about over 1.16 million tons of oil from January through March this year, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.

According to the information, during the reporting period, the complex processed oil by 3.3 percent more than the established plan.

Furthermore, TOPC exceeded the plan for the manufacturing of gasoline for the first quarter of this year by about 5 percent, kerosene - by 12.2 percent, diesel fuel - by more than 9 percent, polypropylene - by 4.5 percent, liquefied natural gas - by more than 1.5 times, and also produced about 20,500 tons of petroleum bitumen more the established plan.

The complex produces unleaded gasoline, aviation and technical kerosene, jet and diesel fuel, fuel oil, lubricating oils, polypropylene, light gasoil, petroleum coke, liquefied natural gas, construction and road bitumen, as well as a number of other petroleum products.

Meanwhile, the products of the complex form the basis of Turkmenistan's exports. The Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries is designed to process 2 million tons of diesel fuel, 250,000 tons of liquefied natural gas and 230,000 tons of low-octane light gasoline per year.
