BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 18. Private enterprises of the Lebap region of Turkmenistan produced more than 2.76 million eggs from January through April 2023, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
According to the information, the growth rate of egg production by private enterprises in the region was 116 percent.
Furthermore, private enterprises in the region during the reporting period achieved a 121 percent increase in the production of meat (in live weight) and milk compared to the same period last year.
Turkmenistan commissioned 20 objects of the agro-industrial complex last year. Thus, during this period, 3 livestock farms, 3 poultry farms, 2 cold stores, 8 greenhouses, and 4 food enterprises were built in Turkmenistan
At the moment, Turkmenistan is doing a lot of work on the development of animal husbandry, increasing the number of livestock, manufacturing meat and dairy products, and strengthening the feed base of the industry. The improvement of local livestock enterprises continues.
