BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 6. The State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan held trades in foreign currency last week, the total amount of transactions of which amounted to approximately $131.65 million, Trend reports.
According to the exchange, the products produced by the Turkmennebit State Concern were purchased by entrepreneurs from the UAE, Türkiye, Hong Kong, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan, including diesel fuel and liquefied gas.
Furthermore, business representatives from Türkiye and Afghanistan purchased ECO-93 gasoline and liquefied natural gas produced by the Turkmengaz State Concern.
Businessmen from Turkmenistan bought basic oil for the domestic market in the amount of more than 239,000 Turkmen manats ($68,290).
A total of 52 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
