BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 9. Turkmenistan and Hungary signed a large package of bilateral documents, Trend reports.
According to official data, the signing of the documents took place following the results of the Turkmen-Hungarian negotiations at the highest level, which were held as part of the arrival of the delegation of Hungary headed by Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
Among them, memoranda of understanding were signed in the field of diplomatic training, scientific and technical cooperation in the field of meteorology, water resources management, education, tourism and culture.
At the same time, the two countries signed agreements on academic and scientific cooperation, as well as on the promotion and protection of investments.
Meanwhile, President of the Supreme Council of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov recently held a meeting with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban in Ashgabat, during which they discussed issues of intensifying bilateral ties in areas of mutual interest.
