ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, July 27. Turkmenabat grain combine of Turkmenistan manufactured products worth 18.9 million Turkmen manats ($5.4 million) from January through June 2023, Trend reports.
During the reporting period, the plant fulfilled the production plan by 100.2 percent.
The growth rate of the enterprise production from January through June of this year amounted to 4.6 percent.
Furthermore, the plant produced 23,880 tons of flour in the first six months of 2023, of which 7,857 tons of premium flour and 16,023 tons of first-grade flour, as well as 7,228 tons of bran.
Flour production in Turkmenistan plays a key role in ensuring the country's food security and is one of the main branches of agriculture. Government support, technological innovations and favorable natural conditions contribute to the development of this industry and create conditions for sustainable economic growth.
