ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, August 29. The growth rate of production of industrial facilities of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan from January through July 2023 reached 2.8 percent, Trend reports.
This was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Batyr Atdaev, at a government meeting held on August 25, 2023.
As per his statements, during the specified period, the growth rate of trade turnover amounted to 4 percent year-on-year.
Furthermore, Atdaev noted that in the first seven months of this year, according to the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, the growth rate of agricultural and food production reached 6.1 percent, and industrial production reached 10.8 percent year-on-year.
The meeting summed up the results of seven months of work within the framework of the implementation of the national rural program, where it was noted that the construction of social facilities for various purposes is being successfully carried out throughout the country.
