ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 6. Turkmenistan exported chemical products to EU countries in the amount of 88.1 million euros from January through May 2023, Trend reports.
According to the information, these figures for the reporting period are 29.1 percent more than in the first six months of last year (68.2 million euros).
Turkmenistan exported chemical products to the EU countries in May in the amount of 21.23 million euros, which is two times, or more than 10.7 million euros, more than in April 2023 (10.53 million euros).
Turkmenistan's exports to the EU reached nearly 273.16 million euros from January through May 2023, reflecting a 29 percent increase compared to the corresponding months of 2022, when it was 193.81 million euros.
Meanwhile, the trade turnover between Turkmenistan and the EU countries from January through May 2023 amounted to over 494.66 million euros, which is 27.3 percent more than the same period last year (406.3 million euros).
