ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 22. Turkmenistan's Altyn Burgut enterprise produced 819 tons of polypropylene fabric from January to August this year, Trend reports.
In value terms, during the specified period, the company produced polypropylene products worth almost 26.3 million Turkmen manats ($7.52 million).
Furthermore, a private enterprise produces about 45-50 tons of plastic containers for storing vegetables, fruits and garden products every month.
Most of the raw materials needed for production are obtained at the Turkmenbashi Oil Processing Complex and the Gyanli Polymer Plant.
Meanwhile, Turkmenistan is focusing its efforts on development of the industrial sector, seeking to diversify its economy and reduce dependence on energy resources.
