ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, December 27. Turkmenistan will put into operation a new electrical substation in the city of Dashoguz located in the north of the country, Trend reports.
Installation work is currently being carried out by specialists of the 'Daşoguzenergogurluşyk' enterprise of the 'Türkmenergogurluşyk' concern of the Ministry of Energy of Turkmenistan.
This facility is being constructed as part of the Balkan-Dashoguz power transmission line project and will serve as one of the unified energy ring's links.
The new substation is required for electrical conversion and distribution and consists of many transformers, switchgear, control devices, and auxiliary structures.
At the same time, the facility will be linked to a comparable 500 kW substation being developed in the country's northern region.
Meanwhile, the implementation of important energy projects ensures a high level of energy supply to consumers in the Dashoguz region of Turkmenistan, which is achieved thanks to the developed infrastructure and the constant increase in the capacity of the energy system.
