ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, January 22. The Babadayhan Textile Complex, located in the Ahal region located in the south of Turkmenistan, produced almost 3,860 tons of cotton yarn last year, Trend reports.
During the reporting period, the complex produced products worth more than 124.6 million Turkmen manat ($35.6 million), which is 189.3 percent more than in 2022.
Currently, the Babadayhan Textile Complex produces cotton yarns of various brands that are competitive on the world market and many textiles under the Mäne trademark.
Meanwhile, the textile complex was put into operation at the end of November 2021 in the Babadayhan district of the Ahal region.
In addition to production facilities, the complex has an administrative building, a power plant, a workshop, a fire department building, as well as a dining room for 450 people, a guest house for 16 people and a sports ground.
