ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, March 5. The Turkmen 'Şanly bedew' company has commissioned a new enterprise for the manufacturing of electric welded steel pipes and profile products in the Ak Bugdai district of the Ahal region of the country, Trend reports.
Based on an official source, the 5-hectare complex comprises of an office building, a production workshop, and warehouses, with the production facility outfitted with cutting-edge equipment made in Türkiye, Japan, and Italy.
In general, the complex's manufacturing capacity allows it to produce 12,000 tons of steel per year while also creating high-quality steel pipes and profiles.
The 'Şanly bedew' company uses carbon steel from metallurgical factories in Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works, JSC Severstal PJSC in Russia, and Kazmet LLP in Kazakhstan to manufacture electric welded pipes and profiles.
Turkmenistan is actively strengthening its industrial sector by creating a range of factories in certain industries and building new chemical plants, in particular, is one of the country's key economic development objectives.
