ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, March 27. The Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan has announced plans to initiate auctions for the privatization of 42 state assets, Trend reports.
According to an official source, the auction will take place on April 17, 2024, through a digital auction platform for the sale of state property.
Various service sector facilities, including stores, cafes, canteens, a wellness center, administrative buildings, a carpet factory, and manufacturing facilities, will be put up for auction.
Among the largest objects to be auctioned are a brick workshop, the Dowrebap shopping and leisure complex (8,800 square meters), a two-story building located in the Lebap region, a pipe manufacturing facility (6,400 square meters) located in the Dashoguz region, and the administrative premises of the 'Nur Zaman' enterprise in Ashgabat city (4,300 square meters).
The online auction for these assets will be conducted through a dedicated digital platform designed for state property auctions, along with its corresponding mobile application.
Meanwhile, on March 15, 2024, the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan also initiated the sale of 42 state-owned assets.
