ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, April 23. Turkmenistan plans to build a large number of residential and social buildings for its population this year, Trend reports.
According to official data, Turkmenistan plans to build residential buildings for its population with a total area of 430,000 square meters in 2024.
Furthermore, 5,360 educational institutions and 1,200 preschool institutions are also planned to be built in the country this year.
The construction of residential buildings, schools, and kindergartens will be carried out in accordance with the 'Program of socio-economic development of Turkmenistan and investments for 2024'.
Meanwhile, as part of the strategy for the development of building construction and infrastructure improvement in Turkmenistan, the focus is on comprehensive support for residential and commercial construction, as well as renovation of existing facilities.
In this context, the emphasis is on the introduction of innovative technologies, the development of the skills of specialists in the fields of architecture, engineering, and construction, as well as attracting investments and establishing partnerships with international construction companies in order to ensure sustainable economic growth and increase the level of comfort for the population.
