Turkmenistan's large garment factory exceeds its production plan

ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, May 31. The Turkmenabat garment factory, located in the Lebap region in the east of Turkmenistan, exceeded its production plan by 5.1 percent from January through April this year, Trend reports.

According to official data, during the specified period, the company produced sewing products totaling more than 10.4 million Turkmen manat ($2.9 million).

The production plan was planned for the specified period at the level of 9.9 million Turkmen manat ($2.8 million).

Sewing machines and sewing equipment from well-known companies from the US, Germany, Japan, China, Italy, Russia, and Türkiye work without interruption in the production of the factory, which has undergone constant reconstruction.

Meanwhile, Turkmenistan's industrial sector has grown significantly in recent years thanks to active public investments and infrastructure modernization, which has allowed the country to strengthen its position in the production of textiles, chemical products, and building materials.
