ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, June 1. The 'Ak Pamyk' enterprise located in Turkmenabat, Turkmenistan, manufactured 910 tons of cotton products from January through April of this year, Trend reports.

According to an official source, during the specified period, in value terms, the enterprise manufactured products worth over 2.2 million Turkmen manats ($627,900), fulfilling the plan.

Furthermore, 'Ak Pamyk' exported 104 tons of cotton products worth over 561,500 Turkmen manats ($160,000) to foreign countries in the first four months of this year.

The company's products are popular both in the domestic market and in countries such as Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Belgium.

Meanwhile, the cotton sector is one of the crucial industries of Turkmenistan's economy and has a long-standing history in the nation.

Turkmenistan is renowned for its vast cotton fields and premium cotton, making this industry a significant source of revenue and jobs for the populace.
