ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, June 21. Turkmenabat plant for the production of vegetable oil in Turkmenistan manufactured products worth more than 44.8 million Turkmen manat ($12.8 million) from January through May this year, Trend reports.
According to an official source, during the specified period, the company produced over 4,500 tons of unrefined cottonseed oil and 3,600 tons of refined cottonseed oil.
At the same time, the Turkmenabat plant for the production of vegetable oil manufactured almost 11,400 tons of cottonseed oilcake and 7,700 tons of cottonseed hulls in the first five months of 2024.
Meanwhile, Turkmenistan is actively developing its industry, especially focusing on the production of vegetable oil.
This sector stimulates the growth of agriculture through investments in new technologies and infrastructure improvements, which helps to increase production and increase the country's export potential.
