(ForUm) - Ukraines government together with scientists must work out long-term program of development of scientific and technological and innovation sphere, as the first vice minister, finance minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said on the session devoted to development of academic and applied sciences in Ukraine, reports Trend.
According to Azarov, Ukraine has scientific base which hardly influence quality of structure of the gross domestic product of the country. In his report Azarov stated that the government is ready to cooperate with scientists for improvement of the situation in innovation sphere.
Azarov offered to form a working group to work out a national program of development of high technology of modern technical means of innovation infrastructure. The national program must consist of scientific elaborations directed to development of Ukrainian science and economy.
The first vice minister noted that despite limited budget financing the government would help at most to develop science.
