President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a decree on appointment of Prosecutor-General of Uzbekistan for new term.
The decree was issued on media outlets of the republic.
In line with the decree, Rashitjon Kadyrov has been appointed to the post of the Prosecutor-General for new term.
Rashitjon Kadyrov is the Prosecutor-General of Uzbekistan since February 2000. In accordance with the President's current decree, he will perform this position for the third time - for the next five years.
