Fund Forum holds open dialogue between NGOs and state agencies in Tashkent

An open dialogue between non-profit non-governmental and international organizations, state agencies and participants of grant programs and other projects of the Social Initiative Support Fund (SISF) was held in Tashkent within the Social Forum "Dialogue of society, state and business in solving social problems", "Uzbek Forum of Culture and Art" fund said today.

The exhibition and presentations of social projects of the Social Initiative Support Fund and the fund forum as a practical model of interaction between society, business and non-profit non-governmental organizations in resolving the social issues, presentation of a joint program of the Social Initiative Support Fund and the UN "Ensuring viability of the population affected by the crisis in the Aral Sea" were held.

The participants discussed the current projects and further actions within the project "Healthy mother - healthy child", "Healthy Youth", "Inclusive Education in Uzbekistan" and "School milk", "Manager", "Support to women farmers and entrepreneurs "" Alternative Energy Sources" and "Providing medical institutions with equipment", "Grant program of supporting social projects of regional non-profit non-governmental organizations in Uzbekistan".

The participants outlined the plans for further work following the social forum, given all the expressed wishes and comments. An opinion was voiced that next meetings will be more practical with the formulation of real and relevant objectives and targets.

The social forum, held in a format of an open dialogue was not only to highlight progress in the implementation of these projects, but to reveal the existing problems, determine solutions and further prospects. This format of forums, discussions and workshops can be called the most successful. It promotes development of society and the state.

The Social Initiative Support Fund, the Fund Forum, the Center of Youth Initiatives "Kelajak Ovozi", a parliamentary commission on asset management of the Public Fund for Support of Non-Profit Non-Governmental Organizations and other civil society institutions, the Uzbek Federation of Trade Unions, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, the Ministry of Public Education , the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, UNESCO, WHO, UNFPA, UNDP are organizers of the forum. Over 300 people - the representatives of the target groups, businesses, ministries and agencies, international organizations, diplomatic missions, both chambers of the Uzbek parliament of attended the forum.
