Uzbek President Islam Karimov signed a decree to postpone weekend in the country due to the celebration of the New Year.
In order to create favorable conditions for the rest of the population, the weekend Dec.29 and Dec.30, 2012 is chnaged to Dec.31, 2012 and Jan.2, 2013.
Saturday Dec.29 and Sunday Dec.30, 2012 are declared working days.
