Uzbekistan’s Central Election Commission has adopted a decision to create 44 polling stations in the country’s representative offices abroad for the presidential election.

Uzbekistan’s Central Election Commission has adopted a decision to create 44 polling stations in the country’s representative offices abroad for the presidential election, CEC chairman Mirza-Ulugbek Abdusalomov said.

He made the remarks during the CEC meeting held in a video conference.

During the meeting, it was also decided to create working groups under CEC to verify the correctness of the signature lists submitted by political parties.

In accordance with the electoral law and based on the submitted documents, four political parties in Uzbekistan have gained the right to participate in the presidential election to be held Dec.4.

They are the Movement of Entrepreneurs and Businessmen – the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, People's Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, Social Democratic Party Adolat (Justice) and Democratic Party Milly Tiklanish (National Revival).
