Bio Texno Eco Recycling Plant has been opened in Surkhandarya region of Uzbekistan.
The first waste processing plant in the country was opened in the Angora district. After the launch of the plant at full capacity, 250 more people will be employed.
The plant collects, sorts, processes waste from the city of Termez, Angora and Termez districts, and also manufactures finished products.
The plant is engaged in processing of 10 types of waste.
There have been no modern waste recycling facilities in Uzbekistan so far. As a result, to date, the country has accumulated two billion tons of waste.
